Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Well now, sharing the site with Jim and Lisa we'll be to close to sleep in... How about some Vermont Maple syrup? It's pretty sweet and it's been a really good Spring for the producers. Ian and Jenny

Mmmmmm......sounds great.
BTW, I am used to being quiet in the morning, but I bet Gracie will hear us when we get up, and want to come visit.
Besides, your internal clocks will be a 3 hours ahead.

(Glenn, can you make it out before the wedding?)
No. I'll spend the hours before trying to knot my tie.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
It is a one-hour drive for us, so I vote for 10:00. We could make 9:00 work, though. I'll bring some good thick bacon from the local butcher, but somebody else is going to need to provide the heat source.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Sounds good Ron.
The more I think about it, I would really like 9:00 for a start. We will want to visit for a while, and if we want to do some form of activities during the day (and I do), it would give us that bit more time. I guess I could go for a few hour paddle beforehand if we were to eat later.
Where do you all want to have this breakfast. There will be two trailers in our site which would give us more stove tops if needed, though they would both be quite virginal. We could all meet at Dirks if someone has an extra stove (though we could easily cook the sausage ahead) as it was his idea to begin with. I'm so easy.

Ian & Sandy - Chinook 23B - Maple Syrup (Fresh from the trees of Vermont)
Ron & ?? - Just visiting - Bacon (Good thick stuff from a local butcher)

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
I'm not sure what site I'll be in. I also thought that meeting at a 19' would be groovy, in case it rains (if someone wants to offer the cover of the larger awning, assuming they are bigger).
I'll arrange to get a bbq - perhaps a large one - so we can do pancakes and sausages and bacon all at the same time. And it'll be move-able.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Sounds good Dirk. I doubt I will be bringing my BBQ with the limited space I will have on the way to pick up my trailer.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
I just found out that I'm going to be in E12 for the meet weekend - it backs onto the swamp so might be a good spot for the BIG ESCAPE BREAKFAST. Thoughts?

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Hi All,
I received an email from Craig today regarding the meet in FT Langley and there has been a cancellation. I think the site available is Salamander Site #29. If anyone wants to attend but couldn't get in.... Check out the Fiberglass RV forum to get Craigs contact information.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Tammy, that site was gone right away yesterday. A few haven't paid for some reason, there could be more openings yet.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
I have taken liberty to invite Al and Raili to breakfast with us. They are registered for the Fort Langley rally but didn't know about all of us having breakfast together.
They own a 2005 Escape.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Even though I was arguing for a later start, I now have somewhere I have to be at 10:30, so now I am happy that we chose 9:00. Only problem is that Kathleen and I will have to leave promptly at 9:30. We are quite looking forward to this.

Re: Ft. Langley Egg meet
Hello Everyone,
Reace and I will be arriving Friday evening and look forward to visiting with everyone. However, we will be leaving early Saturday morning to attend a memorial service for one of our staff on Saturday. We will return to the meet Saturday afternoon in time for the pot luck dinner.
