At the risk of being a little off-topic, we had the same issue with the laminate coming loose in our 19. I ended up taking the counter top and table into the workshop to re-do, planning to keep the original stove and fixture. I removed the laminate, sanded off all the old glue (which was very thinly applied) and re-glued. I drilled some small (1/16") inconspicuous holes first to allow me to insert brads to guide the laminate back into place.

In case anyone is curious, the counter top and back-splash come out as one piece. Pretty easy after the sink and stove are removed.

We replaced our kitchen sink faucet in our 19'. We really like the new one, and it took about an hour to complete.

Dometic has the tempered glass tops stoves. We replaced our with one about three years ago. It was Svea at the time but I think Dometic bought them We love it. They call it the HGB line now.

This is the faucet we are looking at for our Escape 19. It folds and gives even more counter top space.

Just in case folks are looking at older stoves branded before the purchase by Dometic I believe you meant SMEV.

Yes, your right. I always had trouble remembering that name.
