That is a good question. I don't think anyone told him to do this. Probably just like we turn half-way for city water to avoid high pressure? Or maybe just want to save some propane.

Yes, we have full hook up. Our site has 6/7 airstreams and all of them had one attached! I just placed an order so next trip will be a lot easier.

Thank you. That is good to know that even it’s bypass still hot water comes out... so if hot water tank is filling how long will it take? Like 30 seconds? 1 minute? 5 minutes?
