I get why people like the idea of a one tire does all. There are some tires that good examples of this. But having a true summer and true winter tire does seem like a the best solution in climates...

Certainly specs are issued to prospective bidders but that being said price is a large factor, I have changed alot of tires under warranty that were just poor quality tires and not the right choice...
