We have Houghton 9500 installed on a 2021 Escape...

We have Houghton 9500 installed on a 2021 Escape 5 with 2 solar panel. We, however, paid a shop to do the install, so cannot provide the details on the installation.

We had the Houghton 9500 successfully installed on on our Escape 5.0. Since it was done by the RV shop, I do not have the details of the installation but it looks good. We have not camped with it...

We too have ordered 9500 BTU Houghton (RecPro). The RV shop told me it is ours whether it fits or not - and I bravely said yes. The AC supposed to get to the shop on June 30th, and the shop will work...

Thank you! 31" should be enough. The total length of the RecPro AC is 39.5" and The portion on the vent is 13.5-14". The remainder is well short of 31"...

sofmerc - I am nowhere near as knowledgeable as you but what I got out of the earlier discussions was that 9500 btu unit (without heat pump) is more appropriately sized for a 5.0 like camper...

Last I checked, the 9500 BTU version is out of stock... I have ordered our camper without AC and plan to install this when available. We will do without until that happens.
