This is not good news. I dragged my feet and never bothered to get a spare sail switch, and now they are discontinued! Guess I learned my lesson. Dang.

Yes, this lower-power fan produces a slower airflow, which is why this furnace requires the odd sail switch with the bigger "sail".

I finally got my furnace fixed. It turned out to be trash, "fluff", they said, interfering with the sail switch. In the future I will have this checked during an annual maintenance.
