Okay because I'm cautious, I reached out to Escape this a.m. regarding the quick connect being recalled. I sent a picture of mine, seen earlier in this thread, and I got the following reply:

We are going on a 3-week trip next month. We just won't use the quick connect and just take extra propane tanks to hook up our grill and fire bowl. Hopefully we will hear something from Escape upon...
