Figured and tested 1.25 Sched 40 PVC as the runners. Countersunk ss screws need to be 2.25" long to not go over .5". All I can find is 2" or 2.5" (of course), so I get to use my grinder again. Woo...

New 21C. What is under the floor covering? Plywood? I'm installing a couple of runners under the bed and need to know the best way to attach it to the floor.
