The TV works fine with the regular 12 volt plus from the trailer. The problem I had was hum on the audio and rolling interference on the screen. Post 10 in this thread shows stuff I had to use to...

I have a 21" Samsung TV that I rigged to use 12 volt direct. Ended up having to add a bunch of filters to eliminate hum and picture noise. Wouldn't do again. I'd go with a 12 volt Naxa or Jensen....
