so would i push the loop end thru the grommit in the sun shade, then over thru the eye hook, (pre existing on the rafter) then...

although i'd be afraid of the knots coming apart... and also UV frying it over the years...

the gromits on the shade sail are pretty small (so no space for carabiner + something new wrapping the carabiner)

so i'm looking to 100% get rid of...

our shade sail above our Escape has grommets all down one side....

i have eye screws into our rafters, under our house, along one long side of...
