I have had Fantastic Fans in all my trailers and have learned how to slow the speed down with a resistor to a point where it is whisper quiet. They also reverse in and you can feel the gentle breeze....

I'll have to bow to Tammy's advice on the blind choice. As far as battery, the front box will be storage for chairs and other items and I did not want to take up too much room with 2x 6 volts. Plus...
