The holes are not that noticeable inside, the button covers do a great job hiding the bolt heads. I did mine last fall, it helps to have someone outside and someone inside when tightening down...

I wonder how ETI did that? My repair kit includes 4 bolts and 4 cap covers. When I asked about that I was referred to the pictures for the 17" repair panel which shows the cap cover in the ceiling.

Well my kit arrived today, with 4 aluminum brackets, 4 self tapping metal screws to attach to the panel and 4 thru the hull nuts/bolts with caps. I asked what the % was and was told 3/500 came off....

I always use a piece of tape attached to the fiberglass and drill thru the tape and wall, done it successfully now at least a dozen times without any cracks. Works with plaster walls also....
