Question #1 is an "ask Rease and Tammy", they're very accomodating.
Question #2: Yep, plug your shore power cord into the generator, and the trailer doesn't know any better... all AC/DC plugs work...

Got any friends in Northern Washington? Might buy it, ship it to someone getting their Escape soon, they can leave it at Rease and Tammy's, and you pick it up with your baby???

If anyone may be interested. The following link is for a Yamaha dual or tri-fuel generator, ie. it will work on gas/propane/natural gas. Not sure if it's available in Canada?...
