I'm sure I could run the furnace 3 or 4 days ( nights ) before dropping into the orange a few years ago. Now, it's in the orange after light furnace use...

The detector is more than five years old, so I'll look into the draw of any replacement.
Meantime, it's usually plugged in 24/7.

I did check the monitor when the furnace was off, but I'm still concerned about how quickly it goes down. But, who knows how big a gap there is between good and fair, especially if the battery hasn't...
