Doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room, and we don't want to rule out mountain driving, which would be extra demanding on a vehicle. Before totally ruling out the Hybrid, though (and before deciding which to buy), I thought I'd check in with the forum to see if anyone has actually had any experience -successful or otherwise - towing a 19 footer with the Highlander Hybrid (V-6, AWD). Thanks for any feedback! John

It is my guess that the Highlander Hybrid would *not* have enough torque to be peppy as you'd want it.
for example - merging onto a moving freeway.
or getting up a mountain ... faster than 40 mph, for example.
and I dont think it would have enough 'capacity' to really make you feel safe and secure.
Do you already own the Highlander Hybrid?
