I think frequency depends on how much time the trailer is exposed to the elements. Ours spends the winter in a shed, and NuFinish easily lasts for a whole year. If it had to sit out exposed, I think at least every six months would be needed.

My trailer sits outside year round . I wash and apply 2 coats of NU Finish in the Fall (30 days between coats) .In the spring ,I wash and apply another coat of NU Finish and repeat about mid summer. I am retired so spending a nice day polishing the trailer is kind of relaxing.
In the 2 years of owning my Casita ,I have probably applied 10 coats of NU Finish to the trailer. NU FINISH is relatively cheap ($4.99/ bottle) ,easy to apply ,holds up fairly well and makes getting bugs and black streaks off a lot easier.

We have waxed our trailer twice now in 6 years. Just seems to be not enough time, with all the other things going on in life. If I get an extra day, it can easily be filled with something, and hopefully going camping.

We do plan to give it a good shine this spring.

Okay, you guys are just plain weird, you know.

I want to retire to travel with my trailer, not polish it. I sure hope they offer a self-polishing feature sometime soon.

Maybe ETI could have a "spa day" option for the trailers?

Its not like they are busy in Chilliwack...

Trust me, I have definitely considered hiring someone to do it.

Washed the trailer this morning and as soon as it warms up later this week ,the Spring coat of
NU Finish is going on. We just spent over 30 days on the road so we are using our trailer not just polishing it. Being able to go on a trip and not having to be back home on a certain date is one of the best parts of being retired.

After 25 years in classrooms with my day totally determined by clocks and class times, I love being completely in control of my own schedule, or lack thereof; well except when Mary makes my schedule...
