2024, April 25-28: Spring NOG - Northern Oregon Gathering

April 25-28, 2024: Nehalem Bay State Park, Manzanita, Oregon

Ring-a-ling-ring. This is your six month bell to make your reservation!

The majority have spoken! Everyone wants to go back to the beach. The Spring NOG is once again headed to Nehalem Bay State Park (Manzanita area). 95 miles west of Portland on Hwy 101. The NOG was last there in the fall of 2020.

Once you make reservations (or have questions) feel free to post here, the CasitaForum, FiberglassRV or the EscapeForum... please post just once.

I NEED this information for the participant's list:
First names of adults attending
Domicile city and state (you may meet neighbors!)
Year/Length/Make/Model of your 'trailer'
Site number

Make reservations through ReserveAmerica or call ReserveAmerica at 1-800-452-5687 (during regular business hours).

IF you want a Yurt, there's some nice ones in A Loop (two are pet friendly). There's also a kid's play structure in B loop.

I'll try to get the meeting hall reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights. Can't do that until Oct 26. I'll update the thread at the CasitaForum once that's done.

As usual, I'll keep a park map updated and a list of participants going for those that have made reservations on the CasitaForum here: https://www.casitaforum.com/invboard...gon-gathering/.

We'll start reservations in A loop, then B, then C. I've chosen site A14.

Be sure to let us know if you're newbies to egg gatherings and everyone start planning/making your name tags and site signs!

We'll fill in details about the doin's when we get closer to April.

Apparently, it is already fully booked. I got this message a minute ago: "We were unable to find any available sites matching the entered dates and criteria.
Create Availability Notification.Get an email alert when there is availability."

As the 25th hadn't opened yet, I couldn't make a reservation. I changed it to the 24th, so all is good.

Have you been trying to book Apr 25? As of today you can only book for a stay starting on the 24th, because that's the 6 month window, so some of us are jumping the gun to come in a day early. I think if you want to arrive on the 25th, actual start of the NOG, there will be numerous sites that come up available tomorrow. It's a huge park and had a lot of sites when I booked this morning.

At least hopefully you won't be practicing golf shots like the people in your site were the last time we took our site. They bonked the fiberglass a few times! I passive-aggressively went out to "inspect".

24 hours after posting and we have 25 sites booked. The NOG actually starts 6 months from today. Lots of sites available. Make your reservation.

I think we have been close a few times but not landed the same place at same time.
Never been to NOG so looking forward to it.

We are playing with idea of traveling for the Pink Elephant Rally in June.

I was looking at sites in the B loop on the inside. They say they are 38', but only for trailers under 16'. For those that have been there, can these sites hold an Escape 21?

We would rather be closer, but took site C18, as it was larger. If the inner B sites would work, we might change our reservation.
