We went last year and had a great time. We were warmly welcomed by all of the Casita folks. We would go again if it were closer.

I think for the first time ever, there will be an actual Casita Travel Trailer employee in attendance (Jerrod). They must have heard Reace and Tammy were attending and they want someone there to talk up the Casita brand.

Actually, there was a Casita employee there last year. Hard to forget since she won the grand prize, a generator. Thought it strange that an employee on business wouldn't decline the biggest prize of the rally. Memorable.

Meh. Doesn't matter if Reace and Tammy are there to talk about Escapes or not. They kind of speak for themselves. I've read a ton of stories on here about Escape owners being asked about their trailer wherever they go.

The point I was trying to make is... of all the gatherings I've attended, there's only been three manufacturers that had representatives in attendance. John & Evon Oliver of Oliver manufacturing; Tom Young of TrilliumRV and Reace & Tammy have all come to the Oregon Gathering. R&T many, many times. I've never heard anyone from Scamp showing up anywhere and this (I guess) is only the second time someone from Casita has attended. I think it's a GREAT thing for participants. Many have their trailers delivered and have never met anyone from a manufacturer.

We don't know how lucky we have it that Reace & Tammy occasionally participate in this forum. Truly.

I agree that it is a great thing to have the Escape ownership team actively involved on this forum. I often marvel at how well they balance their involvement on this forum. With all of the speculation, rumors, assumptions, misconceptions, and untruths that sometimes fly around on the forum, they must find themselves in a difficult position at times trying not to respond to and correct nearly every post. That would be a sure way of taking up so much of their time that production of those great Escape trailers would suffer. Great job Reace and Tammy.

I agree Donna. I'm just saying if Casita wants to run blocker, they'll need a stellar product. Talk only goes so far. Back before we decided on an Escape, we called and called Casita, sent a dozen emails, and filled out their "web form" -- TWICE. All to no avail and No response. We then drove to Rice and asked for a tour. It was a short tour of one of their trailers. That's why I say 'Meh'. Provide the kind of build quality and one-to-one customer service provided by ETI and THEN we'll talk, Mr. Casita representative. I'm sure there are lots of people who've had a totally positive experience dealing with Casita -- we just weren't one of them.

Glad to hear there are going to be some Escapes there as I really want to look at a 21. Last year Oliver had a Rep there. I never saw the casita rep till the final meeting where she won the big drawing, and accepted it.
