My guess is your spotter is in the rear when you back up onto a leveler so that is the logical place. If solo then you may want to add on to the front for ease.

I do not know, but last time I was out at ETI I had them add additional levels on the front driver side and around the corner on side driver side. I now don't have to walk all around the vehicle, when solo, to check level.
Yes, I know the trailer needs a bath.

I've got the 5.0TA and my tonneau folds up against the rear window. I have to have something I can use remotely or it's a lot of get out and look.

I'm a first time, solo traveler filling my cart with everything I'll need to pick up my 17B October 17th and then camp along the way as I slowly make my way back to Houston through Washington, Oregon, most of the California Coast Highway, Arizona, and East Texas. Though I may end up getting something fancier at a later date, I hope not to have to shop for any of the necessaries along the way. It's clear that each of you has your favorites, and I have read about the various issues such as slippage beneath the chocks, but as a beginning point, does the following list make sense for leveling the 17B?
-Camco 44423 RV Curved Leveler with Chock https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1
-Trimax TCL65 Wheel Chock Lock (the correct size for the 17B?) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1
-Hopkins 08526 Never Fade Two Way Graduated Level
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1
Thanks!

The Camco I have experience with. Make sure it is square with the tire and snugly seated. A rubber mallet or hammer would help seat. Very precise application of throttle and brake. When you have what you want, hold and set the brake. Don't just put the vehicle in park. If you're not use to this kind of maneuvering it might take some practice but you'll get it. Just like learning to back. I've used the Camco on different surfaces and it works for me.

We use one of these on our 17B
https://www.amazon.com/Cover-Wheel-C...%2C184&sr=8-20
The place where you put the key into the lock is up off the ground and where you can get at it.

Thanks! I purchased the Camco and have added your comments to my notes - approximately 50 pages thus far in Word. Now if I can just memorize everything written there...

One on the front, yes. That's what I plan.

Yes, will test placing a leveller on the front for solo trips. A "mini-mod".

I'm going to buy the Anderson levelers for our 19. Would someone who's cut them down mind sharing how much they cut off the end?
I already have the quick change. Haven't used it. Does it need to be cut down also?
Thanks

The quick change does not need cut as it only goes on the outside of the tire vs between them.

About a 1 to 1 1/2 should be fine and bevel the cut edge. What also helps is to put shallow cuts 1/4 inch across the bottom so they do not slip so much when rolling the trailer on to them.
You only need to cut/shorten one to make it work.

A circular saw set to 45 degrees will work just fine on the plastic, and makes a clean cut.

There are holes in the big piece, leave about a half an inch minimum in front of the hole closest to the front edge . I shortened both of mine so I could grab either one and fit it between the tandems. We like these levelers and use them all the time.
