A fee years back we stopped in blue river for the night and I am sure the Mosquitos were bigger than birds, I have spent a fair bit of time in the woods in my life and I have never seen anything like it, they were swimming through the bug spray like it was a appetizer .

The Coleman one Jim has looks nice. Has anyone seen one that has removable screen if you just wanted to use it for additional shade.

Which reminds me of the fly fishing guide who had a dude and his blonde accessory on a trip. The blonde complained that there were too many bugs on the river and wanted to go back to the lodge.

That's because the lodge keeper offered a friendlier type of bite!

Yosemite in the summer means mosquitoes, as does Yellowstone. I remember wearing long sleeves and long pants during the hot days because otherwise we'd get eaten. Loved the parks, but it was a challenge. I was thinking the screenroom attached to the Escape might be the answer -- But is it really possible to keep out the insects?

Yes it is and it doesn't require chemicals, but requires power. That is... use a fan (clip on, box, etc). Mosquitoes are easily kept at bay with wind. At the Oregon Coast, we like a bit of a breeze... moves the bugs right on down the line! But when it's still, look out!

Don't venture to New England this summer if you don't want bugs. Mosquitoes are thick and hungry this year! We're shopping for a lightweight screen room too.

Thanks! That gives me a bit of an idea.
When Zellers was closing out I bought (for next to nothing) some screen wall panels meant to attach to a fabric gazebo. My thought was that they could be somehow fashioned into an attachable screen room. Gabeck's cabanna idea: First Rally , First Trip gave me some incentive.
If I come up with something feasible I'll post it here
