Smile responses to questions

Hello,
In response to several inquiries, here are a few clarifications:

No oven. We didn't have the need for one. A friend does all of her baking and oven-type cooking with a toaster oven and a slow-cooker. We wanted the space, instead.

We haven't installed shelves or hooks, so the surfaces are pristine and not marred. We just applied the 3-M Command hooks on a bathroom wall, and a dinette wall. They work wonderfully for hanging jackets, hairdryer, etc.

The table is the Springfield pedestal model. It raises/lowers several levels, as well as rotates. This allows much better access to the dinette bench. Also, raising the entire dinette platform made a huge difference as far as outside views are concerned. Just raising it 3" higher offered us better visibility through the windows!

If you don't mind me asking Addie, why are you selling?

Cool It's all relative...

Hi RB- Well, I did mention the reasons above...

But, sure. I'll elaborate.
I have a wonderful affliction called Muscular Dystrophy. Over the past year, my weakness has progressed to a distressing point, where even walking at all is becoming difficult, if not impossible.

So, I'm unable to handle the trailer on my own. I did have hopes on traveling down to Florida to escape the Midwest cold and damp. But, the MD is now preventing that.

Hubby is still working very diligently, serving the Veterans of our great nation. As such, time for glamping is few and far between.

Finally, I'll need a larger camper (more floor space) to accommodate a stool or chair that I can sit upon and wheel around the camper.

Now, if you can help me out here, I have a question for you! Could you spread the word, and help me find a buyer for my lovely Escape trailer?

It's a great value, especially at the current exchange rate, as it's loaded with all of the "smart" and extra things.
We didn't change anything on the inside yet, so the new owner can truly make it their own!
Thanks for your interest and help!

Silly me, I didn't read your entire post. I'm sorry to hear that. Best wishes to you regarding your health issues. If I run across someone in the San Antonio area who is in the market, I'll put them in touch with you.

Talking Special Delivery???!

Thanks RB. That would be great!
In fact, there's a strong possibility we could deliver it, as DH is driving me down to San Antonio, TX for Christmas.
How about that for service?!
Cheers!

Addie, if you haven't already done so, and your 19 isn't sold yet, you might want to post it on fgrv as well. They reach a much larger audience of fiberglass trailer owners and buyers, and someone is almost always looking.

2016, but new model

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I shall do that.

*** I also made a mistake that I must correct here. I've always been so wrapped up in the 2017 style model, and didn't realize that the year of the trailer is still 2016. We picked it up in September of that year. One of the first "new" models.

Adding up all of the extra options through EI as well as what we purchased on our own, would cost between 2000 and $2500 more than my asking price. ( someone asked )

Does anyone know if I can edit my original post to reflect the year change?

Thanks!

Hey, CPA, you're great and helpful, as always!

Thanks for taking the time to correct it for me.

Here I thought I had the 2017 all this time. What I have is the 2017 model type, not the actual year of production.
All the same, it's very gently used and like new.
Thanks so much!
Hope you're doing well. Take care of yourself!

When our 21 was originally scheduled for pick-up in December of 2014 we were told it would be a 2015 model. Due to it being moved up to September(which was great) it was then a 2014.

I got my 17B in July of 2008 and according to the registration and insurance papers, it is a 2009.

Rossue & gbaglo,
Thanks for your comments. It's a bit confusing, then! Yes, ours originally was supposed to be a 2017, but then it was moved up. That's also what contributed to the mix-up.

Regardless, I love the new model, especially the windows! These thermal windows, plus the insulation we have work extremely well in both cold and hot weather. As a result, we didn't need to use the AC or furnace as much as anticipated.

My insurance says 2009, but bill of sale says 2008 and sticker and spec sheet also say 2008. Take a look at your stickers.

Thanks, gbaglo, I'll check that out, and compare it to all of the paperwork.
