Be it teak, bamboo or Dri-Deck if you do much shoulder season camping a shower grid mat is nice to have. Like Jim said in a earlier post, water tends to pool in the shower stall, (especially when your not perfectly level). During cool, miserable weather it just makes the bathroom/shower more user friendly. And like Bob we tend to store gallon jugs of fresh water in the bathroom during travel. Scott

But Scott, isn't that how you level the trailer. Unhook, run the shower and then hit the tongue jack till the water runs down the shower drain and you're level.

Hmm, I guess I have been leveling our trailer the wrong way, that's a good way to get rid of the bubble levels and phone level apps. Nah, when traveling we stay hooked up for overnights, if I'm off a couple degrees fore/aft, or side to side we call it good. Some of the old mining sites that we camp at seem to have a fourth dimension, so at times having a perfectly level trailer isn't feasible. As long as the bed in the loft is in the ball park and I get a good nights sleep, I'm a happy camper. Scott

(Edit), While playing frisbee with the dog, I realize that I should of said "level", versus "perfectly level". Scott

I just use an old towel on the shower floor. Easy to pickup and shake when it gets pine needles, dirt on it. Warm on bare toes during those midnight walks. I have an extra small rug that matches the aisle way runner, I'll eventually cut it to fit the shower pan. In the meantime, the old towel works just fine. Dri-Dek hurts my fet.

Amazon has a bamboo mat the fits the 21 perfectly and has silicone feet on the underside, so it doesn't scuff up the floor. I think this is it, but not 100% positive: https://www.amazon.com/Bamboo-Floor-...rds=bamboo+mat

I use a teak mat I bought at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It has rubber feet, but I remove it when I'm towing so that it doesn't bang around inside the shower while I'm driving down the road.
Happy New Year!

Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of the 21' bath floor?

If you guys ever convince me, I'll get a teak mat and put it down over the scratched floor.

What you all are convincing me is that maybe we're working too hard to dry our shower after using it! Maybe squeegee the walls, wipe off of few things, and ignore the water standing under the exotic teak floor....if we had one. Gbaglo, we just need to get with the program I guess.

It is nice as it fills the whole space drivers <-> passenger side, but has a little space fore + aft.
To access the floor drain / stopper - just slide it about 1" forward.
and it has many clear feet on the floor, so I dont think it'll hurt the floor at all.
Looks nice.
$30.
Thanks for the info everyone! Very happy

Cathy, if you're thinking of going with Teak, the one I linked above (Sea Teak on Amazon) measures just under 20" by 31.5". Cut a couple inches off each of the long ends, and you'll have a pretty good fit. Because of the slight curve where the floor hits the side walls, you'll want a final size of about 20"x 25".

Yours is really beautiful. I see that there is teak and there is teak. I saw that curve and tried to measure accordingly but was not being exact as it was about 19F today.

That one is 18" x 24". The area is 22" x 27". Guess there is no real reason to cover the entire area. Don't suppose it slips around. Nice low price.

Donna, I agree with you! Dri-dec hurts my feet too. I used a towel and then I took a bathroom rug and quickly cut it to shape. It was warm and soft on the feet. Just removed it for my shower. This was in my Casita, It had a couple of those slightly rough strips on there to give some traction. The pretty pink bath rug perked up my otherwise dull bathroom.
