Thanks …. it is a long haul even with two drivers ! Mainly the prairies and northern Ontario seem to go on forever …. Driving south of Lake Superior is not as long , we would do it again ….

Being a southerner, I'm having trouble following some of your pictures, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Whiteshell all sound nice, but where are they? What province are you in? Thanks from a Yank...

Times have changed, but, oh man, got to love Niagara Falls. Thanks for those pictures. Last time I was there this was the best shot I could get--- was sent right back into the US after an hour in custody for crossing without a passport.

Hi....we are actually home now in Calgary , but drove to the East coast of Canada starting Sept. 1 and returned home in time for Canadian Thanksgiving dinner . the Whiteshell is a Manitoba Provncial Park one passes through enroute to Ontario . Kenora is just into Ontario from the west situated on Lake of the Woods . Manitoba is sometimes referred to as "land of a thousand lakes " - but northern Ontario could compete . Kenora and The Whiteshell are cottage country , as well as hunting / fishing mecca for many . Thunder Bay is the Canadian Lake head city of Lake Superior ( once two towns called Fort Williamand /Port Arthur ) .
Didn't post anything of the prairie .... too big - pics don't do it justice !

Cordingly Lake, Geraldton and Nakina are located north east of Thunder Bay , places we lived in the early 1970's. Wolf was a bush pilot back then .
