Great photos, Pat. Thanks for posting those. We're thinking of including Hwy 20 in our "great circle route" around the northern tier of states next year. Last time I drove it was 1972; it's time again.

I see the F250 is still doing its thing. Great truck!

There was some ice on top of the storage box in the morning. But it warmed up pretty fast once the sun came out. Pretty toasty inside the Escape with the furnace and the extra insulation.

Dead Horse Rand State Park in Cottonwood, AZ. The tourist town of Jerome with no parking is on the hill. We really liked this park, the hiking trails that start within the park go for miles.

We've been going to Dead Horse for years. Great park Oct - April, and they take reservations now which helps a lot. Awesome spot.

We've been traveling around our neighboring states for the past several weeks. One of our stops was at Palmetto Island State Park, Abbeville, Louisiana.

We're still heading east from Ca. Hope to make New Hampshire by Wed. Oct. 12 with maybe a day or two at Cooperstown on the way. Tonight is our favorite site east of Seascape, Ca. Beautiful Diamond Lake County Park C.G. near Montezuma, Iowa.

The setting sun makes way for the rising moon over Lake Diamond. Beautiful, calm, and bug free....... London Broil steaks, wrapped in pepper bacon strips about to come off of the BBQ......lovely!
