We just use a fitting sheet. Are others doing upholstery fabric? Seems like a waste if it is just covered anyway.

Pondering just using a van sleeping bag and a a blanket or two verses outfitting the bed like at home.

We had our living room furniture reupholstered by a fellow who had forty years of experience and owned a high end shop. When we asked about Scotch Guard, he advised not to use it.
It will protect for a short while, but when the upholstery gets soiled it is much more difficult to get it clean.

I like it! Works very well with the stock Formica. Classy.

I was wondering about that, too. Some have a mattress cover on when the linens are removed and the trailer is not being used. If linens are on the bed, not any reason to have one that I can see. Seems it is for when you are home.

Donna, that's really nice looking. Where did you get the fabric from?
Thanks!

I was wondering if you have a photo posted that shows the cabinet on top of the stock cabinet? Did you put shelves and drawers in them?
After touring a 21' yesterday, I'm very much taken with the idea of adding that extra cabinet.
If you, or anyone else has posted photos, please provide the link(s). You can send me a PM or email if you don't want to change the theme of this post.
Thanks!

When everyone was cruising various sites looking for their custom fabric, do you recall seeing any with cats on them? I did find two with horses at the Discounted Fabric site someone mentioned. But they didn't have any with cats. I emailed a local company in Seattle, but they never got back to me (what's with the lack of customer service these days?).
Yes, I know I can go with a solid or slightly patterned one color fabric and use cat patterned pillows, but one never knows until you see your different options.
Thanks!

If you Google "fabric with cats" or "cats fabric" you'll pull up a zillion images and then can go to the website to see what is offered. Here is just one example:

I did that for a few nights ago and stayed up wwwwaaayyy past my bedtime looking, but they were all fabrics for regular sewing, not upholstery fabrics. And I already have tons of cat fabrics at home from when I used to decorate gift bags for my business.

Cathy and I are cat lovers ourselves with "Phillip" and "Sebastian" valued household members along with the German Shepard. But what I want to say that sometimes if we personalize something to much, we turn off potential buyers if we decide to sell. On major ticket items I am always looking at resale value and several options on our trailer will be there for the next guy. Yet if this is what you want, go for it. It probably wouldn't be to hard or expensive to change out. Just my 2 US cents worth. Canada got rid of theirs. Loren
