Kitchen window - love it?

Trying to figure out how nice it is to have the kitchen window? Man that thing looks small for $350....

Throw in the exchange rate of .75 or so and it became affordable for me. Plus, since the kitchen window opens and I deleted my range hood it allows me to pull air into the kitchen area when the Maxx fan is on and the door and other windows are shut. And being from the Seattle area I like light...lots of light...so glad I got it.

While it's a different size (21), I love the kitchen window. Nice to get more airflow. Especially if I forget to open the vent flap. Not that I've ever done that.

Dave,
I just posted in the other thread about the kitchen window in our 17A. Here is the comment repeated:
We did get the optional awning window at the sink, and we use it constantly. We love it!!! We leave it slightly open even when it's cold out, because in combination with a slightly open maxxfan vent, we haven't had condensation problems at night.

Don- great to hear from a 17A owner - really helpful! I think the rock guard window is out and the kitchen window is in. Lot of winter trips going to be happening, so was looking for a reason to get rid of the single pane window....

Dave, for what it's worth, the opening kitchen window is our most used option besides the storage box. If I were building a new Escape, it would be a must have.
