Here are a few pictures of our setup,
outside locker door,
looking under the bed through the locker door,
the bed made up with a quilt,
cabinet doors under the bed,
two large plastic bins for clothes....
We also got the larger fridge and glad we did,
Bob

Be aware that a larger refrigerator makes the aisle between the refrigerator and kitchen counter narrower. I am not sure by how much. Probably not a problem for one person but it might make passing in the aisle more difficult for two.

Ok, thanks for the pictures. So is the space open from side to side under the permanent bed? Not framed like the aisle of the dinette?

We have the larger fridge, it’s 26” between the counter and refrigerator. I don’t know how much bigger it is with the smaller fridge.

Correct, it’s wide open under the bed. The water tank is still there, it isn’t enclosed, I don’t see that as a problem. We haven’t had things move around much. My TV is a pickup truck, so I carry a boat hook in the box to nab things that shift forward. I’ve never had to use it under the bed. That’s my plan if I need to.
By the time we get the two bins in there against the hot water tank, a couple of folding chairs across the back everything else is reachable. We keep a small dishpan and use it for small stuff like power adaptors etc.
We have the front storage bin as well and most smaller stuff is in there.
We don’t use all the storage space we have.

I made my own mattress for my 17B from 3" foam & a 2 - 5" sloped topper. It elevated my head to lessen acid reflux...
Quite comfortable.

I did much the same with 4" of firm foam from a local store topped with 3" Talalay latex purchased from Amazon. I stack large and small pillows behind my head when needed to handle acid reflux. All is placed atop the mattress that came with my 17B, still needed to decrease joint pain (fibromyalgia). It works!

I asked. The large fridge is flush-mounted and the smaller one sticks out, so the floor is a bit wider but the walking space isn't really much wider.
