Build Sheet Complete

Signed our build sheet yesterday for our 2017 19ft. When we started our build sheet journey little did we know how beneficial all the input from the forum members would be. Thanks to all who answered our crazy questions and helped to steer us in the right direction. This is a fantastic group of Escape and camping enthusiasts who have a passion for what we hope will be many years of exploring and adventure. From pup tent to small dome tent to large dome tent to small pop-up to a larger pop-up and now to the Escape. What a long strange trip it's been.:

Just sent in my list of options for the build sheet. Now I wait for Sarah to turn it into a real build sheet, find the total cost , sign it and return to ETI. Then wait until January as my build was moved up two weeks. Though right now not picking up until right before the Appreciation Rally.

Just sent ours off to Sarah today. It was helpful to: A) get to some rallies and talk with owners (thanks to all of you who took time to talk with us). B) go to Chilliwack and spend a few hours over the course of 3-4 days talking directly with Reace and Sarah to get our first draft of the build sheet started. And C) have friends going through the same process at the same time to bounce ideas off - thanks Reddog and Dora! Now it's time to hold on and be patient as we wait for our new delivery date of 19 Jan!

Dave,
We are excited for you for getting your Escape 21 on January 19. I would like to find out what size of Contoure Convection Microwave Oven that you ordered. Is it 1.2 or 1.0 cu ft.? we had seen it in a Airstream trailer. It looks nice.

Tonny,
I think our convection microwave is 1.2 cubic feet.

Have you confirmed that the microwave will fit? I received the following microwave cabinet measurements from Escape and verified them in a new 21.

The Cabinet Opening (Hole): 18 ½” wide x 11 ½” tall
The Actual Cabinet (Cavity): 20 1/8” wide x 12” tall x 23 ¼” deep

According to the manufacturer, Contoure 1.2 cu ft Convection Microwave has the outside dimensions of 20-7/16" W x 12-3/8" H x 18-13/16" D.

That doesn't seem to work out.

Welcome to "the 19 club"! And if you are going to love your trailer as much as we do, you are sitting good: going to be an Escape camper for the rest of your life! Enjoy!!!

O'Connor RV is a very good idea for that sort of thing. We shipped several small items to Escape to have them installed during the build, and considering the fact that the mail rates were outrageous, we might have been better off buying them locally through O'Connor.

Tony, we wanted the SMEV cooktop but apparently ETI had problems with a previous installation because of the very small edges. Ours is a Suburban 2 burner drop in with a drop in flush cover glass cooktop. I haven't seen Robert's pics.

Can anyone post pictures or links for these items for others to see and wish they had them?

I'm assuming they're installing the Suburban 2983A as in the first photo. Ours is a Dickinson Marine model as in the second photo. In either case, the useable counter space when not cooking should come in handy.

Another 19 is heading into production. I just signed my build sheet with only a few hours to spare before this evening's dead line.
I am really thankful for all the postings on various options that I had to consider. You all are a wonderful resource.
Now I'm gonna break out the champagne and celebrate!!

Not really, but it would be helpful for other members, other than the owners.
