Yeah, we have had blizzard conditions the past couple days here in Calgary. Driving is painfully sloooooooow................ A couple major highways shut down too.

Not sure of the route of the truck though.

You can use just about any weather service, and put in the cities where you expect the truck to be.

And there is a good reason why your order was cancelled. There has been a lot of snow in Canada recently and the roads are now impassable.

As JMac mentioned, it will be spring before they get the roads cleared enough to allow traffic to continue.

Temperature was -30°C on my way into the office this morning. For some reason I am thinking about retirement and warm climates.

It was -30°C at 5:30 this morning here. Right now, (8:30AM) it has dropped to -34° (-29°F). Going to have to dig the longjohns out methinks.

Didn't plug in the block heater last night. Don't normally do so unless temperatures are supposed to get below about -30°C. Will probably plug in tonight, since it is supposed to get a bit colder yet, and my FJ was a bit PO'd at me this morning for not plugging it in.

At that temperature your oil is like grease. I've heard that the first 10 seconds an engine is operating while below -0- is without any lubricant. That is why oil or antifreeze circulating heaters are beneficial.

We are not completely escaping winter here in southern Arizona. At Lost Dutchman State Park it was 27°F this morning. It is suppose to get up to 65° today...

We aren't escaping it on the coast either, but it's nothing like what some of you are seeing!
