Ice fishing mod for an Escape?

Came across this ice fishing mod that could probably be adapted quite easily to an Escape. Best suited for those who are located in the colder parts of the world. Anyone here want to give it a shot?

ahhh NO. Not for me. Maybe for you? Like Karen says, you try it first and let us know how it works out...

Over the years, I've seen quite a few 13' all molded towables up for sale with bucket size holes in the dinette area. Mostly the mods were done well, for ice fishing.

Isn't that why they invented Safeway (or other grocery store brand)?

No way I'd ever willingly tow Ten Forward out on a sheet of "glass."

YMMV

Dave, I'd love to go ice fishing with you, when you get the mod done. Looks like a great idea.

This would not be an issue with enough ice, 12" or more. I have driven heavy pickups on the ice lots in the past. You see them scattered all over the lakes and reservoirs around here ice fishing.

Not that it justifies a mod like that video.

I still remember the time shortly after starting to date my wife, and with another friend went out to Ghost Reservoir, and without a second thought, drove down to the ice, and right out onto it. WELL, I guess I shoulda ran this plan past Lisa, as she came unglued on me, freaking out big time. Fortunately, we did not sink, and are still together 35 years later.

Mother Nature most definitely has way more power than any of us.

Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open for a good deal on a skidoo to power things then. Was thinking of some kind of tracked system for the tandem axles on your 19', just in case the snow on the lake gets deep.

Up in Inuvik I seen a sticky with skis under where the wheels would be .
Plus it had a wood burner in it as well . Looked like a good idea for that area .

I knew a guy who cut a hole in the floor of his RV for ice fishing. He made a hatch lid that would just fit into the hole when it was not in use for ice fishing. Don't know how well it worked for ice fishing, but I do know the water drained out of the RV really fast after it was towed out of the lake when it broke through.....
