Hi: gharms...Houray!!! Now the weight begins. I thought I would share some more drool tools with you. Kinda like a frosty bottle of Leinenkugles Summer Wheat Beer. To be enjoyed slowly!!!
I know our 5.0 is different but it's still an Escape. Alf

Yumm! Now that is something else! What a beauty you have. Thank you very much for sharing with me and the fellow-Escapees! I know that the 5.0 is still quite similar to the 17', but you have the extra bed space. May 2010 will be my pick-up time.... Long wait indeed, just cannot wait... Today I made the last official step of giving the deposit to Tammy. I still just cannot believe it, as this has been my dream for a long time now. I love tenting, but there is a big BUT attached to that. Tenting is really nice, if the weather stays put.

Gerda, I too love sleeping in a tent, and still do that in the back country. I guess I could see if the Escape floats and pull it behind the canoe.
We have comfy down filled air mattresses that are real nice. I don't worry at all about the weather though, and have slept in a tent in many a blizzard and rain storm.
That said, where at all possible, the Escape will always be my preference.
