Did you note the mirrors on the wall behind the rhubarb?

And, I don't even like rhubarb.

Mirrors and a Tiffany lamp in the rhubarb patch - now that is classy.

We go out to Westham Island every June to get the local strawberries. Add some rhubarb and heaven!

Rhubarb Index April 14, 2016.
I figure we'll harvest next week after doing inventory on the beer fridge.

That's awesome .....we were supposed to get a little rain today .....think there was a little 5 minute sprinkle in the north of the city ....nothing in the south . But the trees are starting to flower . No snow in March this year .

We did, we did, Gabi! A wee spit is all we got. Lisa broke down and watered the plants in today. Tulips are well up, buds on the trees like you said. All many weeks before normal.

I was listening to the gardening show on CHQR on Sunday, and they had to remind just about every person who called in to wait for a month to plant, it is still too early. This weather makes it seem like June, not April.

But yes, we desperately need water. It could rain lightly for a week as far as I am concerned.

Hi: gbaglo... Try adding a can of drained Pineapple Tid-Bits to stewed/ sweetened rhubarb, as it cools. Puts some crunch back into it.
On a whole new topic... add the drained juice to coconut Rhum and instant Pina Colada!!!
I noticed the chair for rhubarb watching!!! Alf
