Serenity - 2017 19'
Orientation for our 19' Escape is tomorrow morning!
Our trailer happened to be parked outside the shop today ... so got a first look at the outside. Looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Beautiful. I well remember the excitement of looking forward to orientation and pick-up. Almost makes me want to do it again. Almost.

Now "camped" in Golden, with the furnace running. Will do kicking horse pass in daylight.
Trailer rides wonderfully behind the truck. My trillium would porpoise terribly. I'm not sure if the gain is from the tandem axles or the sway/load leveller. Either way I am happy with the ride.
Excellent orientation and professional service from Escape. The start was delayed as they replaced a bathroom door that didn't hang well. I was pleased with that effort. However, both of the guard doggies were disappointed when I had to stop petting them.

Short of the OP replying, it looks to me like either "Yellow Green" or "Iguana Green".

and trailer and driver are home. Graphic colour is Yellow Green, so sharp eye and colour sense from War Eagle. I like green. and the custom graphic charge for the name was only about 60$ Cdn. A very fun 60$.

Had to make sure it wasn't mine - no purple graphics and too many wheels! Just curious - I'm picking up March 9 and can't decide if I should fill tanks/use the water system for fear of it freezing. Did you use water, or literally "dry camp"?

When we picked up our 19' in Apr 2013, Escape had conveniently half-filled the freshwater tank so that we could have water as we camped for 2 nights on the way home. Of course, temperatures overnight in Jasper hit about -12°C and when we went to the dump station there, the black and grey tank valves had frozen shut. Ended up driving all of the rest of the way home and then dumping the tanks and winterizing the trailer at home.
On my next trailer, if there is any likelihood of really cold weather on the trip home after pickup, I would ask Escape beforehand to make sure that the trailer is in a winterized condition on pickup with no water in the tanks. Of course in nice weather, that is of no concern.

I dry camped, in the literal sense. I had a big jug of water in the truck for coffee and whatnot, but never used it.
On the way home, I stayed a night on south frontage road in Golden, opposite the McDonalds. I did not want to do Kicking Horse pass in the dark, as temperatures plunged south of freezing and the roads were icing up. McD's washrooms were just across the road.
I recommend checking in with Escape about a week prior. I suspect that they store their trailers "winterized" - but I only know that mine was stored that way. It still has the purple "winterized" tag above the sink!
