So as we were picking up our trailer this morning, out comes a two-toned, white & beige colored E21 model. A few minutes later, a white/red model (E19 or 21?) rolls out too. The folks at Escape said it’s something they’re trying out & they just came out of the molds last week (these are the only 2 colors they have so far). Interesting, but I like my all white model.

Hmm, the red is really wild looking. I can imagine it with a vintage-themed interior. Red and white checkerboard flooring, some accenting curtains, and chromed edging on the table & countertops.

I think it's a great choice for those who want a splash of colour on their build. Gelcoat will be more durable and last longer than vinyl wrap or graphics.
If they go ahead, it will be interesting to see how it is rolled out. Will a fixed set of colours be offered as a no-cost option, or will there be an upcharge for anything other than white? Will custom colour requests be accommodated? How easy will it be to colour-match future repairs?

I don't think sooooo, I'll stick with my white on white.
If you are going to do color, then do both halves and add graphics.
Doing half white and the other half another color, can't come up with a combination that would look good....... But that's just me. Any suggestions
Due to the process to change colours, I’d think there would be a steep up charge.
And if the process is expensive (and time-consuming), my guess is that customers will be limited to maybe two or three choices. I'd vote for bright ones: red, green, blue.

In the interest of diversity the management could adopt their color scheme by coming out with the “Vacation Bible School Series”. Red or Yellow, Black or White, they’re all precious in His sight, Escape loves all the fiberglass campers of the World. Let’s see a rainbow model too.

I kind of like the white/gray. Agree that the white/red would be a great platform for a vintage themed camper. Not sure I'd pay the upcharge though (if there were one). Good to see that they're experimenting and working to keep the product line fresh. Now, if only they would answer my emails....

Since the gelcoat is catalyzed it can't just sit in the gun between uses. It has to be cleaned so it wouldn't make too much difference in the amount of work required to change colors.
I think that in automotive paints there's an upcharge for certain colors like deep reds. Don't know if that applies to gelcoats, I've mainly used whites.
Two tone has always meant just that to me, two tones, not two entirely different colors. One of these photos is two tone. The other is two color. I'll take the former please, thank you.
It's been a dreary cold day here...Dave, thank you for the hearty chuckle.
