As a new Escape trailer owner and someone who camped a couple of days immediately after pickup. Let me share what I didn't take and wish I would have!

Sharp knife for that first steak dinner.
Rug runner for floor.
Another coffee cup... mine broke!

That's it. Everything else was doable and I had a great couple of nights.

Dave just called...not sure what he was thinking this morning! He is 90 mi north of Dallas, so it will be another 6 hrs or better.
I'm gonna go take a nap!!

Hope you can get a nap, I'd be so anxious that I couldn't even if dog tired. BTW, on the inside, mine was as clean as a whistle. It was clean outside as well, but mine had only traveled a few feet before I got her.

She's here!
Met Dave about 8:30 pm just up the road from my house at a school parking lot and we got her unloaded! It was a challenge, but I guess not as difficult as Padlin's...Dave might just have this stuff figured out - at least that's what he said! He was surprised that it's not still light here at 9:30 at night, but we did have some lot lighting! After she was hooked up and I pulled her off of Dave's trailer, we went in to check it all out...I'm sooooo happy! Well, except for one thing. Donna's favorite, the escape hatch......it's gone! I brought it home and for future reference for anyone, a standard white kitchen trash bag fits the hole perfectly! (And a bit of tape!) I will check it all out in the morning, but I don't think he ran into any rain...oh well!

I'm all pumped up right now, but it is late, so My Dream Escape will have to wait til morning to see me again!

Congrats on the new trailer!

Did the Escape Hatch got lost during transport? Ah well, that can be replaced easily.

No worries! Enjoy the new "toy"

Have fun!

Good to hear you got it without and major difficulties. Been reading over on a truck camper forum about the escape hatches, seems it's not unheard of for them to fly off during travel. Good idea for the future to put it on the preflight checklist, we already had closing the maxx-fan vent on it.
