We have been in tha camper all week in wonderful Colorado. Just want to note that the foot flush does not extend into the shower area-no worries about the pedal taking up valuable space.

Jim,
You can order it from Amazon in the quantity you need. Also West Marine sells it online and in some stores as well.

Thanks for the update Steve. Changed my mind (again) and have ordered the foot flush.

I see one possible issue with the foot flush. Agreed it is preferable, but with it mounted on an edge(tank edge), one may push down too much and break it. If it were on a flat floor it would seem okay but with nothing below to stop it, one may go too far. With that said however, I may get the taller model offered , with the hand flush.

Just curious, since we don't have our trailer yet, how high off the floor is the ledge that the toilet sits on?

The distance between the bathroom floor and the shelf the toilet sets on is 6.75" or 172 mm.

With the foot lever, you'll have to hold it open with your foot, while using one hand to balance and the other to operate the wand.
Thanks for the tip! In my case I will hide the wipes when the kids are around so none get flushed! I imagine that would be a nightmare.

Jim - According to the Thetford specs, the Hi Profile is 17-2/5" high and the Low Profile is 12-9/10". If you add the 6.5" shelf on to those, you might want to rethink the Hi Profile (a household toilet is about 16" high). Unless there's another toilet height I don't know about, they both seem a little high.

Yes, you are probably right, leave well enough alone. It worked fine in the 19', so I'll keep it that way.
