Coat Hooks

Despite slashing my wrist with a zip disk in a grinder and spending a few hours waiting for stitches in emerg, I managed to bang off this coat rack. Like the Umbra hooks, these hooks fold away when not in use. They are BJÄRNUM hooks from Ikea. I just cut a few chunks of wood to build a rack for them. I wanted something different.

Thanks, Tom. Fortunately the cut was not too deep and only required four stitches to close a1/4" gap. The student doctor did a neat stitching job.

Memories in the making! You will remember making the coat rack every time you look at the scare.

Probably, though I am terribly out of practice. I am so bad, I have been so busy with things, I haven't played in months now.

Neat job, I see the stitches as a badge of honour!! What did you do to adhere the wood holder you built to the surface you glued it to?

Jim,

My motto is... "If I didn't bleed I didn't do the job right!" By this standard, I ALWAYS do the job right.

It's good to know that you're did this job right too.
