Ours lives in the wardrobe! That was the only way I could think of not tripping over it constantly, but both of these options work too

As for the bathroom, I didn't even want one in there because I've already hip-checked the toilet paper roll a couple of times while showering and a wastebasket would stick out even more. I really need to move the TP holder in mine, showering with my head touching the ceiling is awkward enough already! (And it's equally awkward seated, and then my elbows are what hit the TP...)

They way ours is hung, it takes but a moment to move it while you shower. That is what is so nice about it.

Though, you can count on both hands the number of showers we have taken in the bath in 5 summers.

We shower with the door open, maxx fan on, shower curtain drawn so it doesn't matter what's on the door.
We shower all the time in the trailer .... I hate public showers!
But I do like the garbage can on the external door idea!

I got an ultra-suction tp holder from Ikea STUGVIK Toilet roll holder with suction cup - IKEA and it is on the wall under the shower curtain. I then removed the one on the door, after being assured that the Ikea one would hold. Obviously, it can now be placed virtually anywhere in the bath compartment.
However, I would like to know where Glenn and Jim got those baskets.

Sandra, I got it at a big box store, Home Depot or Rona, for sure. I think it was described as a compost container.

edit: Here it is on the US Home Depot site.
