How to stop things moving in overhead shelves when travelling

I've got a challenge. Has anyone designed a workable system for their overhead shelves (dishes, cans, etc.) that prevent them from moving while travelling. Non-slip materials really don't work well even when you fasten it with velcro. Things still tip. Adjustable partitions are one thought. Placing item in individual storage units within the cabinets is another thought. Any bright ideas out there.
