SnapPads

Hello - Has anyone purchased and installed SnapPads for their scissor jacks? See here: https://rvsnappad.com/

They fit onto the scissor jack sand pad or you can purchase SnapPads that have a sand pad integrated.

I've used them on other travel trailers and I like them - a lot. But I've not heard of anyone using them on an Escape. I did search the forum.

Thanks.

Escape sells sand pads….I don’t see the point of adding anything more to those. Just my personal preference of course.

Since my trailer has the lift kit, there is enough clearance to add to the sand pads. I made 4" X 4" X31/2" blocks that i screwed to the sand pads. Saves time & energy cranking up & down the stabilizer jacks.

Right. These mount onto the sand pads for a larger foot print and eliminates the need to use anything else under the stabilizer. They are not removed but stay on the sand pad/stabilizer 24/7/365. And, there are models of SnapPads that replace the standard sand pads…

I’ve used them previously on another trailer and I like them but have not read if anyone has used them with an Escape.

I made my own. I don't normally use any blocks under them unless the ground is very soft or sloping and I need extra height.

The bases are 6"x6". Seems to be a good all round size. Wouldn't go smaller but if I was doing some again I might make them an inch larger.
