Why are the cushions different thickness? The side benches are 26" long and 24" wide. The front bench is 18" wide. The side back cushions are 4" thick and the front back is 2" thick.

I'm thinking of having the cushions made for this set up, but keeping the standard table in the new 21'. That way, at a later date I can add a bench seat, install these cushions for the "U" effect and make myself a new table if I wanted.

Only the front back cushion is thinner. It is made thinner as the front bench seating area is only 18" wide, not 24" wide as the side benches.

Good! Not only is it hard to get a picture of the dinette it can get very confusing talking about bench sizes. Reace finally had to assure me it all worked very well in the 5.0.

"...The table is 31" wide and 25 1/4" long. It is shorter than the standard dinette because of the front bench. Table slides front to back.
The side benches are 26" long and 24" wide. The front bench is 18" wide. The side back cushions are 4" thick and the front back is 2" thick. We find it very comfortable for 2 and that was our plan. We are in the 5'6" range, not exactly giants among our species. "

So I see... is that the charger/converter .... now to the rear of the front instead of underneath on ...the driver side? Will be in touch soon, looking forward to the visit.
Saturday we went to the Santa Fe Indian Market. Saw a nice Navajo rug I liked --- cost a little bit less than a 19. :

Yes the converter gets moved with the u dinette. The drivers bench has the inverter and blk tank. Still l not much storage there. Some in the long front bench. So far there is so much more storage than we will ever use.
Very nice rug!
Talk to you soon.

Actually, the table doesn't look all that small. I do like that setup and have a feeling we'll be ordering that in our trailer. Really like the look! Thanks for posting the photo.

congratulations on your new 19. We really enjoyed our U dinette and we'll have to wait to see how the 21 works out.

Hi Jack,
Again I want to thank you for letting us see your 19 and all the advice. Too bad the timing couldn't have been better, we would have purchased your 19 in a heartbeat!
Spent some time in the 21 while in chilliwack and can see the draw for wanting to upsize. The extra counter space and drawers are very appealing. Bet you are having fun with the build process.

Hi: MyronL... That Navajo rug would look perfect, cut to fit, in an Escape 19. Alf

Jim,,No, we'll go for the factory 4 place as it is larger than the 19 and I hope to see the TV somehow. We are going for cable connection at the cabinet area plus up over the bed incase the TV ends up on the bath wall.

Jim I just sent Tammy an email today asking her about reinforcing walls. We won't have a tv but we thought reinforced walls would be good for hooks, shelves etc. I'm thinking the wall to the right of the bathroom door would be a good wall to reinforce.

Yes, I had the dinette bath wall side done for my TV, the refer side seems already reinforced in the 19, but the wall facing the door will need reinforcing for hook hanging.
