LED Lights

This is probably a stupid question, but does anybody have any tips on removing the cover on an interior ceiling LED light (2016 model)? I see two little slots on each side, but it feels like it's going to break when I insert a screwdriver and twist. I'm just trying to remove it to dump out the bugs that are inside.

Push hard, they will come easy.

I assume they are the same as on my 2017, but I just did what you are trying and the lens popped right off. I had to move/remove a few during my rebuilding phase.

Ok, thanks. Guess I'll twist harder. Maybe I'll wait until I get home so I can slide a putty knife between the screwdriver and the ceiling to prevent damaging the ceiling.

If you can, try to kind of pull to the side so that you're pulling it outwards and not just downwards. That can reduce the total force needed a bit.
