Glad to hear that thievery works for you.

One nice thing about Nalgene containers too, is that you can get them in rectangle shapes, which pack easier, or in tough squirt bottle too. I hear you on the Campsuds bottles, I have been using the same one in my backcountry kitchen kit for at least 20 years now. Good tough plastic on them too.

I looked them all over at MEC but didn't see a squirt bottle version. Has it got a name or model number that I can search for?

Wow good to know that it will survive at least another 5 years!

Not sure of a model, but I thought we bought them at MEC. It came with a pack of about 6 or more small storage containers. We have had ours (two of them) for many years now.

For that, you only lose one hand, not both.

I've spilled olive oil before because of the crappy tops, and lamp oil, but the worst by far was the small pint bottle of bleach that leaked out the top just a tiny bit. Bleach will badly corrode almost anything. It's now carried inside a tall plastic tub, along with the lamp oil.
