It's either a table or a bed. The table can't be completely removed unless you unscrew it from the hinge bracket.

It uses the same hinge setup that's used in my Scamp. When in the table position, you only see the silver tabs that are at the table top level. In the bed position you see the "tube" bracket. I don't find it visually bad at all.

We have had four sitting at our two pedestal table a few times playing cards on mizerable nights, and there has always been lots of foot room for everyone. There is a lot of space to put long legs without the pedestals interfering. To me the wall mounted setup looks a bit chinzier, but again that is just my take.

So the hinged table is always there unless you unscrew the hinge bracket. What about the pedestal table -- can the legs and the table be completely removed?

We are so glad we found a third option. No flanges in the floor and no hinges on the wall. Make the table any size you want with filler pieces. Pull one lever and drop it into place. Totally removable.

In our 2008 5.0 the two pedestals are right next to one another creating a pretty big block of metal. I think the table in the 19' has the pedestals spaced out...maybe there is more floor space there. In our 5.0 with the u-shaped dinette configuration there is not as much space so the pedestals are right next to one another. BUT, they can be removed leaving just the bases for the pedestals which are screwed to the floor.

Wouldn't that make the bed 12" shorter in length? Is it long enough to lose that much?

Our Boler B1700RGH has a storage space (not 12" wide) behind the driver's side seatback of the dinette. The trailer is roughly the width of an Escape 19', and has more rounded corners that cut into the footroom of the dinette as bed.

Gotta love this thread. Here's a manufacturer that give options to the owner of the trailer for a TABLE. That's unheard of from other manufacturers with their take it or leave it attitude. It's all about the owner's needs and wants. How absolutely cool is that?!
