I don't think there is such an animal. You regulate the air pressure at the air compressor. The plug can be found at any RV parts store, here's CW's plug,

For the last two years I have used the low point drain to winterize the trailer. Haven't had any problems so did the same method today.

At the last minute decided to follow up with the new procedure using compressed air. I got about a tsp out of the outside shower. Then got about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of water out of the toilet. Guess I will start using the compressed air method from now on!!!

Can't believe it is snowing today!

Looks like I will be washing, doing a good clean out, and then winterizing my 19' this weekend. Got a new cover for it also. Hoping that spring comes early next year.

GROAN! It's still September, who wants to THINK about winterizing? I've got one more five day campout planned. Fall NOG. Second weekend in October at the beach. Usually, after Fall NOG I winterize, but we're running about 15 degrees below our usual temperature now. Can we hope for an "Indian Summer." Sorry for not being PC.

I can't wait for the fall NOG so I can pick people's brains who've actually winterized their trailers before! Because reading what to do is not the same as being shown, at least for me!

Winterizing for a trip to Florida!!!

Hi: All... Yes I've started winterizing... done the blowout plug, low drain, and the back flow valve in the city water inlet...behind the screen. I'm not to sad doing it this season as it's only till we can tug down south in the new year. Storage will be in Ft. Myers Beach Fla. this winter.
My wife's been busy setting up my pensions to kick in Feb one, while I've been busy setting up the trailer to kick in then too!!! Alf

I'm winterizing both me and the trailer by heading south and west this winter. Hope to stay above freezing, but will carry both a compressor and blow out plug that I hope will never see the light of day!
