Geln, I have used 3m marine fibergalss gelcoat polishing compound from Canadian Tire for that kind of stuff and it works great. I just use one of those micro fiber cloths and gently rub the compound...

good quality wax when applied properly fills the voids in what ever it is being applied to and does soak in, the key is the prep work prior to applying the wax. A proper wash and going over the...
