Thanks Jon. I've been undecided but your post helped make up my mind. We use enough juice as it is that I spend too much time chasing the sun. Adding the inverter just complicates things even more....

I use a portable Harbor Freight plug in inverter...

I use a portable Harbor Freight plug in inverter ($20). Does everything we need. If anything, I wish we'd gone with another 12v plug or two.
