Swift hitch is magnetic. Couldn't you just stick it on the roof pointed down or on the front of the bed? Agreed about the screen being tiny! I was thinking about velcroing it to the steering wheel...

I have a swift hitch. It works well. We put it on the TV to hook up and then switch it to the trailer. If you get the 02 model, it comes with suction cups. It also works well as a baby monitor!
