Marv, mine is a 2018 2WD shortbed SuperCrew, 2.7L EcoBoost, tow package, standard axle. I get basically the same mileage I did on my 2015. Average 25.5 not towing, 15.5 towing a 19.

I have no idea if it works that way Marv. What I can tell you is that the integrated controller works flawlessly on my 2018, just as it did on my 2015. No lag, no lurch, very smooth.

I like it Dale. Very smooth, hard to feel the shift points. The truck feels a little more powerful than the 2015 with the same displacement, but that's probably due to the direct and port injection.

Picked it up today. I like the color. It's basically the same truck as the 2015, with the exceptions of a redesigned 2.7L, a 10 speed, backup assist, power trailer towing mirrors, and 20" wheels....
