The pex pipes have a plastic nut on the end of them Pat with 1/2" standard pipe threads. Easy off, easy on, hand tighten only. You don't even need to see them - you can feel them.

Do you mean in order to clear the cushions or walls? Our table was installed sliding left to right and we just kept it that way. When the table is unclamped it will rotate as far as clearances allow....
